Event for Constantinos Cavafy: French Institute of Larissa
EVENT FOR KONSTANTINOS KAVAFI
The Spiritual Workshop of Teachers of Larissa Prefecture, in collaboration with the French Institute, Larissa branch, organizes an event dedicated to Konstantinos Cavafy for the 160th anniversary of his birth and the 90th anniversary of his death.
The event will take place at the French Institute on Monday 4/12 at 8 pm.
I. Zarogiannis, philologist, will speak on the topic: "Kavafi's poetics" and H. Schizas, philologist, on the topic: "Kavafi and history".
Poems by Cavafy will be recited by teachers Christiana Alexiou, Chrysa Velissariou, Eleni Divani and Despina Patsiatzi.
