The Administration of the Larissa General Hospital and the Larissa Mental Health Center are organizing a day on the topic: "Domestic Violence / Preventive Actions and Incident Management", the start of which will take place at the "JOIST" Innovation Park, on Thursday 11.05.2023, at 12: 00, from the Governor of the Hospital, Mr. Grigorio Vlahakis.
The purpose of the conference is to create a network of cooperating bodies of the Local Government, the County Hospital and the Community Structures providing Mental Health services, following previous work meetings on the subject of domestic violence held at the Larissa Hospital and Mental Health Center.
The needs and the fact that the provision of psychiatric care in the community, based on the principles of social psychiatry and psychosocial rehabilitation, can only be ensured through interdisciplinary cooperation and interconnection:
· With local services and local bodies
· With users of mental health services and their families and
· With the wider social context in which they live.
The Administration and Departments of G.N. Larisa, the K.P.Y. of Larisa, representatives of the Hellenic Police, the Prosecutor's Office of Larisa, the Forensic Service of Larisa and representatives of the Deputy Mayors of the social policy of the Municipalities of Larisa, participate in the day with the aim of networking and supporting those who have lost their supports (internal and external ).
